GSO has released three two systems that serve its notification activities:

GSO Notification System:

which provides the following services:

• View Technical Regulations harmonized standards, categories and scopes.

• Apply and Renew Notification and follow up on Notification Requests.

• Management of Notified Bodies Users and their privileges.

GSO Conformity Tracking System (GCTS):

GSO TR Harmonized Standards: An up-to-date list of standards required by GCSO Technical Regulations; the system auto-updates edition numbers and dates via IEC data feeds

The GCTS system provides notified bodies and economic operators with which provides the following services:

• Register and update economic operators' records.

• Register and update products  and products and generate product GCTS.

• Register and update conformity certificates records and generate certificates GCTS.

• Activate certificates records and fees collection

The main changes from the old system are:

• Economic operator record doesn't contain a type, the role of the economic operator is defined in the product record. The same EO can be an importer for a product and a manufacturer for another.

• Products records are separated from certificates records and each one has a different GCTS. Each product has a constant GCTS that doesn't change when certificate changes.

• Certificate record has much more information than before (category, scope and standards)

• A renewal process for certificates which will create a new certificate linked with old one and activation period for the new certificate will be in sync with the old certificate.

• Notified bodies can assign multiple users to do the registration work with different privileges

• The economic operator can have users who can access the system, view their products and download GCTS images. EO users can also edit EO and product details if it is not locked by the notified body
