Certificate Status

The table below shows all possible statuses for certificates.

In Progress

In progress certificate (draft), not yet approved by GSO

Published

Valid certificate approved by NB and GSO

Cancelled

Cancelled before the approval by the NB (certificate created by mistake)

Suspended

Suspended by the NB for maximum 6 months
This status shall be used also when the standards have gone over the standards validity date. Can be reactivated when the NCs are solved by the manufacturer.

Terminated

Cancelled as per customer request or if standards update request is not received by the NB after standards validity expiration and end of suspension period

Withdrawn

Cancelled by the NB due to critical NCs or NCs not solved after suspension period (hazardous products or manufacturer misconduct)

Superseded

Certificate has been renewed.

Auto Status Change

The status will be automatically changed by the system in the following cases:

Automatically Suspended by system when the certificate and/or standards are Expired

Terminated

After 6 months of certificate expiry date the certificate will be terminated.

Superseded

After renewal the old certificate will become superseded

Email Reminders will be sent based on the auto update of the certificate status and standard expiry

(1) Used to revise the certificate, it won't be enabled if a pending version is already available.

(2) Renewal requires some extra conditions. Certificate should be: Active, expiry date is +/- 6 months, no renewal is already available.

(3) Undo is available only for manual actions, i.e. If status was not updated by the system.

(4) This action is to delete canceled certificate completely from the system.

(5)  This action is to bring back a canceled certificate to in progress
