Delete VIN

Delete Unconfirmed VIN’s

Manufacturer can Permanent Delete the Unconfirmed VIN’s by Select the VIN from VIN Listing Page and click on “Delete” button from Delete dropdown menu as shown below :

After Confirming VIN Deletion user will get a Success Message for Deleting.

Delete Confirmed VIN’s

Permanent deletion of a VIN is not allowed after confirmation.

When the manufacturer needs to delete a confirmed VIN, a deletion request must be created for review by the GSO Officer. To do this, select the confirmed VIN and click on “Add New VIN Update Request” from the Delete dropdown menu, as shown below.

You can select “Delete” in the Type field to request the deletion of a VIN. Then click “Submit” to send the request for approval.

Once the request is submitted, you will be able to view all requests associated with the VIN. To access more details or delete a request, click the eye icon as shown below.

GSO Officer can Delete/Reject the request of deletion, when approved it will be displayed with a strikethrough and cannot be added back.

To view All VIN Update Requests, click on “View VIN Update Request” button on top of the page
