Manufacturer Registration and Authorization

Use your GSO Account to log in to Mutabiq, If you don’t have an account yet, Signup..

The logged-in user should be an Authorized Person from the manufacturer to be able to create the manufacturer profile and take action on his behalf.

On the first login to the system, the dashboard will show a message like the image below with a button to create the manufacturer profile.

You will then get a form for entering your manufacturer details as shown below:

  1. Manufacturer details include the company name, type of manufacturer (motor vehicles, motorcycles or tyres), address and country of origin.

  2. The manufacturer letterhead image should be uploaded according to the mentioned specifications

  3. The details of the person authorized to sign the conformity certificates.

 

After Saving the Creation Form you will be taken to Manufacturer Details Page show as below:

  1. When the Profile is Created for the fist time the status will be “ Edited “.

  2. Generate the Authorization letter:

Authorization letter is a testimony from the manufacturer authorizing the person mentioned in the letter to access GSO services on behalf of the manufacturer for submitting conformity certificates. This letter is on the letter head of the manufacturer (uploaded while creating the profile) and signed by the person who is the signer mentioned while creating the profile.

3. Uploading the signed authorization letter.

Note: From the authorization letter generated, one can also verify if their letter head is aligned properly and looks clear. As the same letter head will be used in generation of certificates.

After Uploading the Authorization Letter the Profile Status will change to “ Pending “ as shown below:

 

  • The concerned department for approving your profile has been notified

  • The process of approval would take 4 business days

  • You will receive a notification once your profile has been approved

 

After Getting approval from GSO Officer The Profile Status will change to “ Approved “ as shown below:

 

Any Edit in Manufacturer Profile Information like ( Manufacturer Details - Authorized Signatory - Authorized Person ) the Profile status will change to “ Edited “ and you have to Upload the authorization letter again to get Approved by GSO Officer.
